Removal of Flash in Catalogue content

With Flash no longer being supported by browsers at the end of year, this may be a good time for you to review some of your older content.

The team will be reviewing all courses in the North Course Catalogue and republishing them to remove any Flash content. This may take some time but keep a look out for details of courses we have republished in future digests.

Health Literacy – e-LfH

Promoting health literacy is everyone’s responsibility. By completing this programme, learners will find out why health literacy is important and how to use some simple techniques including TeachBack, chunk and check, using pictures and simple language to improve how they communicate and check understanding with others. The programme is aimed at the wider public health workforce, particularly in health, social care and the charitable sector. The programme provides an introduction to health literacy, why it is important and the core techniques that can be used to improve health literacy.
